DosBoxed Games
This site is dedicated to provide high quality Linux Debian packages of abandoned old good DOS games. DosBox is used to provide maximum comfort and zero-configuration required on user side. Just install and play!
Some of these superb games were Liberated officially by their rights holder and are avilable in standard Debian repositories. Games stored here were not Liberated officially and are abandoned and cannot be bought now. Liberated games which are not available in standard repositories are here too (for example TES: Arena).
Each game has its dedicated manpage, shell script runner and a separate documentation package (PDF, if it was available). When list of passwords has been provided for copy-protection purposes, it's present in manpage. All games here can be configured to use OpenGL output in DosBox, which greatly improves the emulation speed. Each game maintains its own DosBox configuration file, which is present at /etc/dosbox/games/$game_name.conf.
Main goal is to deliver packaged games ready to run, no configuration required.
